Welcome to Mindy's Book Lists. 

I am a librarian and avid reader of children's/YA books.  I have been blogging about books since 2003, and I have been compiling these lists since 2006 as a way of tracking what I read.  The goal is to create lists that capture the "harder to search" elements of books for all those times you wish you could find those specific things. 

A Few Housekeeping Notes:  

• This is always a work in progress.
• Some links will be out of date.
• Some formatting will be inconsistent. I'm working on it!
• Most of the books on these lists are books that I have read myself (except the "By the Cover" lists), though occasionally I include a title or two that I haven't read yet on an applicable list if I've read a review or gotten a personal recommendation about the content.

                    These "By the Cover" lists were started as a way to track cover elements for use in book displays at the library.

****Books for Adults are not really my specialty, so these lists are kind of slim pickings.
